The prestigious 50th Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will feature more than just world-class racing this year. The Stand 21 Safety Foundation will be returning to host their annual safety conference on Saturday during this milestone event. This year’s presentation will focus on “Racing Safety at Any Age”.

Joining our panel of speakers will be Bonneville legend Danny Thompson. His remarkable racing journey began at just 9 years old and spans across quarter-midgets, motocross, Formula Atlantic, sprint cars, and stadium trucks. Thompson later made history in land speed racing, notably piloting the Challenger 2 to an extraordinary 448.75 mph, shattering the overall piston-driven land speed record.
